comment: I don't have much information on Klimax, other than that they were from Michigan and apparently released just this one album before splitting in 1992. It was an obscure, lost recording until Retrospect Records put it out on CD for the first time in 2006.Klimax play a style of hard rock reminiscent of bands like Danger Danger, Y&T and Dirty Looks. But while the album is solid from start to finish (From the Hip to the Lip is the standout IMO) there's nothing on here to make it stand out from the pack, a pack that was teeming with similar bands in 1989. Still, it's a nice addition to any hair metal collection and worth giving a spin.
